Google Uses Merkle Trees to Compress Post-Quantum HTTPS Certificate Data

According to the primary source, Google is using clever math to quantum-proof HTTPS certificates by squeezing 15kB of data into 700-byte space via Merkle trees (Ars Technica, https://arstechnica.com/security/2026/02/google-is-using-clever-math-to-quantum-proof-https-certificates/).

The report states that Merkle Tree Certificate support is already in Chrome.

It adds that soon it will be everywhere.
