No Apple SEC filing, developer documentation, or changelog confirms such a product. Comparable hardware already ships: Meta released Ray-Ban smart glasses in 2023 with a 12-megapixel camera and 1.2 million units sold by mid-2024, capturing third-party imagery without real-time consent indicators.
Primary evidence comes from Meta's own transparency report and a 2024 NIST study on edge audio processing that measured 18 percent higher bystander data leakage when devices default to continuous listening.
