
NASA Selects Intuitive Machines for $180M Moon Delivery Mission
NASA awards Intuitive Machines $180.4 million to carry science and tech payloads to the Moon via the CLPS initiative.
NASA has awarded Intuitive Machines of Houston a $180.4 million contract to deliver seven payloads to the lunar surface under the Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) initiative and the Artemis program. Five of the payloads are from NASA and are expected to improve understanding of the Moon's chemical composition. This marks another step in NASA's plan to use commercial partners for regular lunar deliveries.
