Russia-India Energy Loop: Sanctions Fuel Unintended Refining Alliance Amid Ukraine Strikes

Russia has begun seaborne imports of gasoline from India to address domestic fuel shortages caused by Ukrainian drone attacks on its refineries, according to multiple industry sources. At least 60,000 metric tons have already been dispatched, with two tankers carrying 30,000-40,000 tons each en route, and plans for up to 400,000 tons monthly from India and Belarus.[1][2]
