SciAtlas integrates 43M papers across 26 disciplines into 157M entities and 3B triplets, supplying a heterogeneous academic knowledge graph with tri-path neuro-symbolic retrieval that moves beyond keyword or vector matching (arXiv:2605.22878). The resource directly supports full-loop agentic workflows including trend synthesis and idea positioning while cutting inference costs through deterministic graph reranking. Parallel infrastructure efforts such as the Semantic Scholar Open Data Platform and GraphRAG evaluations demonstrate the same pattern of replacing retrieval layers with topological substrates at comparable scale. Coverage of SciAtlas understates the quantified pipeline displacement already occurring when 3B-triplet graphs supplant both traditional databases and standalone LLM agents in literature review and trajectory mapping tasks.
