UK Defence Secretary Resigns Over Treasury-Capped 2.68% GDP Defence Spend by 2030

MoD will publish a revised DIP by 31 July 2026 that freezes GCAP tranche-2 funding pending a new spending review, prompting formal partner reviews from Italy and Japan.
